You know, I have worked out a lot in my life, and never experienced that “runner’s high.” But this concept of beautiful math, yes.
When I taught that one semester of stats without calculus (!), I apologized to the class when I wrote out the proof of the central limit theorem. Not one of them understood it, or wanted to. But I just loved it, and had to share it with them. Oh well.
